Beamchaser-- A Success Story by Hannah Cargo

I could never forget how I was introduced to Wings of Whimsy. I was going to school one day in February, and I spotted Jenna carrying a plastic basket fashioned with a bow. It was filled to the top with - were those paper dragons?
Naturally, I was interested, and so I asked Jenna about them. She gladly showed me each Flower Gliderwing, and explained about them. "They're gifts. It's really cool, look, they can fly. Like paper airplanes. I would throw one to show you, but there's not enough room..."  I gushed compliments on her artistic talent and secretly wanted one myself. Jenna then introduced me to Wings of Whimsy, where she showed me that Sara (one of my other friends,) founded the website and that Jenna and her make them. I was hooked.

With Jenna's help, I filled out a form to get a Gliderwing. "It may take awhile," she said. "I've got homework and other stuff to balance along with this."
"No problem," I told her, and began to anticipate the arrival of my first paper dragon, Beamchaser.

So a few days later, I was at school early, playing on my iPad. Jenna sat down next to me. "Hey." She said. "Look who I have." I tore my eyes away from my iPad.
Jenna was holding a Gliderwing. My Gliderwing. It was beautifully crafted, with bright colors resembling a sunset. She was sporting a name tag that read "Hello! My name is Beamchaser!" I squealed in excitement and snatched up Beamchaser. "ThankyouThankyouThankyou!!!" I yelped to Jenna, who was smiling. I flew Beamchaser through the hallways until I got home for the day, where I placed her fondly on my dresser. (Reserved for all my awesome trinkets and figurines.)

Since then, I have gotten an Asian Dragon Hatchling, as well as a Dragonlance. And I'm still a proud customer of Wings of Whimsy!
I highly recommend getting your own paper dragon.
Thank you Jenna and Sara!

-Hannah
