Welcome to Wings of Whimsy! We make beautiful paper dragons for people to keep for inspiration, pets, adoptables and more. The possibilities are endless!

We have several different kinds of dragon, and all you have to do to receive one is *ask, or you can fill out our online Google Forms. We will then make you a dragon from our selections, and we will throw in a nametag as well. Thank you for visiting Wings of Whimsy, and make sure to poke around!


* = We must physically know you in order to recieve a paper dragon. We do not send dragons through the mail and we don't send them to people we don't know. You must also pay for your dragon with USD-- you can find the price of a dragon per species under the Dragons tab.

Specials

What are Special Dragons?

Special dragons are dragons that are distributed on special dates or holidays. They are given to people you love and care about, though you can buy one for yourself too.

To get a Special Dragon, please fill out this form.

PLEASE do not try to cheat and fill in an entry for a Special Dragon when it is not time for one-- such as asking for a Reindeer dragon in the middle of July. Your entries are submitted with timestamps, so we'll automatically know if you're trying to cheat.

May 4th-31st, 2016: CAPTAIN AMERICA DRAGON! Marionette Subspecies

In honor of Captain America: Civil War! Show your support for Team Captain America! (no longer available)

Dragon Info-bite: This strong SuperDragon comes with an exclusive shield- made out of the strongest paper known to dragon kind! Don't let him near your Iron Man Dragon- they'll fight!


May 4th-31st, 2016: IRON MAN DRAGONS! Gliderwing Subspecies

In honor of Captain America: Civil War! Show your support for Team Iron Man! (no longer available)

Dragon Info-Bite: This epic red-and-gold dragon loves tech. Don't let him near your Captain America Dragon- they'll fight!


December 1st-17th, 2014: SMAUG!  Gliderwing Subspecies

In honor of the Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies! (no longer available)

Dragon Info-bite: This ferocious dragon loves to play with fire. He'll burn down anything just to keep his treasure hoard away from thieving hands. He is also an expert in riddling talk.


December 1st-25: REINDEER DRAGONS! Gliderwing Subspecies

In honor of Christmas! (available annually)

Dragon Info-bite: These dragons love the snow! They'll fly around, frolicking and playing. They practice pulling sleighs every year, hoping someday they can do it for Santa. They are very fond of young children... and carrots.



February 1st-15: FLOWER DRAGONS! Gliderwing Subspecies

In honor of Valentine's Day! (available annually)

Dragon Info-bite: These sweet dragons don't breathe fire. They love to accompany other people, spreading happy aromas and appreciation wherever they go. They are very cheerful and helpful, and more than willing to lend a talon when it comes to caring. Their beautiful scales resemble fragrant trees and flowers.




July 1-4: UNCLE SAM DRAGONS! Gliderwing Subspecies

In honor of Independence Day! (available annually)

Dragon Info-bite: Uncle Sam Gliderwings are very patriotic. They wear adorable Uncle Sam hats wherever they go and their scales are covered with American flag printings. They love to belt out 'America the Beautiful' whenever they can, though it annoys some other dragons. This dragon will support our country proudly by flying over the fireworks! (Special thanks to Peytonisawesome!)



October 15-30: BATDRAKES! Gliderwing Subspecies

In honor of Halloween! (available annually)

Dragon Info-bite: These nocturnal dragons have large wings and ears. They fly well and hunt with echolocation. Their scales are usually a mottled black or brown. They love to fly around and scare other dragons playfully! (Special thanks to Hannahbananan03 for description!)

  1. I think you should make a uncle Sam dragons for the fourth of July. They are not a new kind of dragon, though. They are a glider wing type with "American flag printings" on them (red and white stripes, blue and white star print). They could come with an attached Uncle Sam hat. If the glider wing dragon idea doesn't work, then it could be some other dragon. This dragon will support our country proudly by flying over the fireworks!
